  • About Us

Emma Cares, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization based in Decatur, Georgia. Founded in 2009, our grassroots program attempts to alleviate the housing burdens that are faced by the elderly due to a lack of financial resources and housing availability. The organization was created to combat the negative impacts a lack of affordable housing places upon the low-income elderly population. Emma Cares improves the quality of life for the elders in the Dekalb County community and help to eliminate the plagues of loneliness, helplessness, and boredom that they might experience. In addition to housing, we provide nutritious meals, activities, and educational and awareness programs to occupy our residents. We seek to provide the highest quality living for seniors in a safe, warm, loving, sound, beautiful home-like milieu, so that they may “Age Comfortably”.
