  • About Us

Village Harvest is a nonprofit volunteer organization in the San Francisco Bay Area that harvests abundant fruit from homes and small orchards for people in need. We help people share their gardens and talents to fight hunger and create a healthier, more sustainable community.

Since our founding in 2001 we've become one of the oldest and largest organizations of our type, and volunteers have harvested nearly 4 million pounds of healthy, local, sustainable fruit from our gardens to help feed hundreds of thousands through local food banks. Village Harvest now has community teams serving 3 counties of the South Bay and Peninsula, and more than 1200 volunteers pick up to ¼ million pounds a year.

Join us! Offer your extra fruit, volunteer your talents, or learn more at www.villageharvest.org or (888) FRUIT 411.
