  • About Us

The Peninsula Bridge Program is an education-based nonprofit that was founded in 1989 and launched its first summer program in 1990. Peninsula Bridge offers a tuition-free accelerated academic summer program and select year-round programs for motivated middle school students from under-resourced communities in San Mateo County. Our primary goal is to prepare students for academic success in high school and imbue them with the confidence and self-esteem they need to create and pursue their educational and life dreams. Through its signature summer program, Peninsula Bridge prepares students - one at a time - to meet the challenge of academic success in math and language arts by the time they complete the 8th grade, thus leveling the educational playing field for access to college track courses in high school.
