About Us
The Habla Conmigo Academy program is a unique science-and-service collaboration between the Language Learning Lab at Stanford University and community partners in the San Francisco Bay Area. This innovative program is designed to provide Spanish-speaking parents from low-resource Latino families with new knowledge, skills, and confidence to nurture their children’s potential for learning. The long-term goal is to prevent gaps in school readiness that begin to emerge very early between advantaged and less advantaged children.
