About Us
KidsCareEverywhere (KCE) is a non-profit global health charity dedicated to improving children's health by providing to physicians in impoverished hospitals access to evidence based medicine (EBM). KCE has conducted software projects in 17 countries and three continents since 2006, and has trained thousands of physicians. KCE uses a mobile application (app) called “PEMSoft Mobile” as the software platform. In the under-resourced sites KCE serves, physicians typically have smart phones and understand written English. Furthermore, the PEMSoft software program runs from the native memory of the device without need for web access or electricity. The software is loaded on the native memories of the donated hardware through a primary internet connection, and can be subsequently updated with any internet connection at home or in an internet café.
