About Us
OCRRA is the Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency. That’s a fancy way of saying that we’re the group that oversees what happens to the waste and recycling from Onondaga County communities. We’ve been working to keep neighborhoods like yours cleaner and healthier since 1990.
Currently, OCRRA programs include:
- Award-winning recycling and composting programs
- A foundation for local waste disposal at the Waste-to-Energy Facility
- Two convenient trash and recycling drop-off sites
- Numerous programs for recycling and disposing of hard-to-manage materials
With help from residents like you, these programs continue to support Onondaga County in helping save the world a little each day!
