About Us
The main purpose of the Somerville YMCA School Age Child Care program is to provide a safe, comfortable and reliable child care environment that fosters emotional maturity and promotes the physical, intellectual and social well-being of the school age child.
Our primary intent is to help children develop their fullest potential. The design of the program recognizes the need for play and its importance as a means for growth. Our curriculum is one that nurtures and responds to the developing needs of each individual child. The activities provide challenge, stimulation and an opportunity for self-expression.
