Family Resource Navigators

  • About Us

Family Resource Navigators (FRN) is a family to family agency helping families to connect to and advocate for equitable and necessary services for their children with disabilities. FRN helps families with schools, medical services, regional centers and accessing basic needs. FRN works with over 2,500 Alameda County diverse families each year providing peer to peer family navigation, trainings on systems and leadership, and opportunities to build community (playgroups, gatherings, conferences). Staff are very diverse, and we can offer services in 12+ languages (i.e. English, Spanish, Mam, Hindi, Arabic, Farsi, Cantonese, Mandarin, ASL). All staff come from the community and have a personal experience with disability and navigating systems.
