  • About Us

Although Wellesley has a reputation as an affluent town, reality can be quite different for some of our neighbors. Friendly Aid is a quiet but action-oriented charity that has been serving Wellesley for over 100 years. When individuals or families face economic problems, Friendly Aid can provide fast, direct assistance without bureaucratic overhead. Friendly Aid is the umbrella organization for the successful Wellesley Food Pantry, and also provides Holiday Food Vouchers and Summer Camp Financial Aid to Wellesley families in need. Other projects include processing SMOC Fuel Assistance Applications and running the weekly meeting of the Friendship Circle, a popular gathering of senior women. Friendly Aid also provides emergency aid to Wellesley families. Please call 781-235-3960 for more information!
