    We are the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Adult Education and Workforce Development Program.

    The Adult Education program provides English as a second language, literacy, or math instruction to adults learners. Our goal is to help students who are seeking new or better employment, permanent residents seeking to become American citizens, and students hoping to earn their GED or enter an American university.

    The mission, vision, and beliefs of the AIU are found below.

    Our mission: We maximize educational opportunities for all learners by responding to the needs of our community with leading-edge, high-quality, cost-effective programs and services.
