About Us
Community Youth Services (CYS) is a non-profit organization actively working in the community to identify and help resolve issues that impact young people. CYS was founded in 1970 by community leaders who were responding to the ever-increasing concern for youth at risk. This non-profit organization assists youth with diverse backgrounds realize their potential and develop a sense of responsibility to themselves and their community as they make the transition into healthy and productive adulthood. Our mission is to empower youth at-risk and their families to meet their goals for safety, stability, belonging and individualized services and advocacy. We envision every child growing up in a supportive home and community and achieving their full potential for personal growth.
