The Order of Malta, Western Association is a Roman Catholic Lay Religious Order with a worldwide footprint and more than nine centuries of serving the poor and sick. It is known as the world’s oldest international charity and is a member-driven organization. The purpose of the office is to serve the Association primarily through its officers, directors, and committee chairs and support their collective efforts to serve the sick and the poor.
