New Friends of the Beaverton City Library

  • About Us

Our organization sells affordable, gently used books and audio-visual materials donated by the public at The New Friends of the Beaverton City Library’s used book store and online through a number of marketplaces. Proceeds from The Book Corner, our online stores, and other fundraising efforts are given to the Main Beaverton City Library and the Murray-Scholls Branch Library each year. We also help fulfill the Beaverton City Library’s “Wish List”, which has included e-readers, Blu-ray movies, computers and printers, children’s room furniture, a wide variety of books, shelving, staff training, and a directional kiosk. In addition, NFBCL funding supports programs such as The Art of the Story Festival and Everybody Reads.
