  • About Us

Founded in 1976 by Dr. Marta Moreno Vega, the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI) is the only cultural center founded and fully, specifically dedicated to Caribbean culture and is one of NYC’s earliest organizations to focus on the cultural contributions of people of color. Through research, exhibitions, performances, educational programs, and professional development, CCCADI’s work uses arts and culture of the African Diaspora as tools for personal transformation, community-building, and social justice.
