About Us
The GAVI Alliance is a public-private partnership that saves children's lives and protects health by increasing access to immunization in poor countries. Since it was founded in 2000 with generous support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, GAVI has helped prevent more than 5.5 million future deaths and reached four out of five children in some of the world's poorest countries with life-saving vaccines and immunizations. GAVI Alliance partners include UNICEF, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, World Health Organization, and The World Bank.
