  • About Us

Every day, Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio (LSS) helps thousands of people in need throughout 27 Ohio counties by addressing the four core societal issues of hunger, housing, healing and hope. Organized in 1912, LSS was founded to carry on general charitable and religious work and continues to serve that very purpose today. Through food pantries, homeless shelters, senior living residences, affordable housing communities and other services that uplift families and strengthen communities, LSS is continuing its mission of creating a better world by serving people in need.
