Mission
MoCoPAAN is an all volunteer nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that has networked Asian American leaders in Montgomery County, Maryland. MoCoPAAN’s goal is to connect the leaders to the public to enhance general knowledge of Asian Americans, to raise the presence of Asian Americans who share progressive values in community conversations and to strengthen allyship.

MoCoPAAN envisions a county, where Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs), their diversity, challenges, and needs, are better understood and addressed.
As active stakeholders in advancing equity and social justice, MoCoPAAN will create robustly, and inclusive communities within Montgomery County.
We are a multigenerational organization with members representing Asian Americans of diverse ethnic backgrounds and first and second-generation immigrants. Many MoCoPAAN members are longtime Montgomery County residents and leaders in the community.
