Tribal Link Foundation is a communications network linking indigenous peoples to information, media, resources, and relevant networks, with a special focus on the United Nations system. Tribal Link provides information to the public regarding indigenous peoples and their issues, emphasizing the significance of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.
Since 2007, Tribal Link has held special consultative status with the United Nations (UN) Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). For many years preceding 2007, Tribal Link worked within the UN framework in association with the UN Department of Public Information. Over the years we have enjoyed working in cooperation with a number of UN agencies and representatives to coordinate events, training programs, and other activities at the UN that highlight indigenous communities.
