Housing Initiatives of Princeton

Housing Initiatives of Princeton is the only provider of transitional housing in Princeton for local families who are facing homelessness. Our program includes intensive, personalized wrap around services so families can live safely and gain the education, jobs, and services they need to achieve stability and ultimately qualify for permanent housing.

We currently have seven units of Transitional Housing, growing to ten in the next 3 years. Our families are supported in their work to reach their goals by two social workers who help with goal setting, followup, assistance in applying for affordable housing and connections to emotional , financial and career counseling.

We also have an all volunteer team that provides rental assistance (security deposits and back rent) to help keep our neighbors safely in their homes.
