Ten Gav

At Ten Gav we offer a platform to match donors with relatively small needs; needs that are not currently funded by the existing state mechanism, but that have been verified by social workers or other professionals involved in helping people. That is a unique aspect, since all of the needs we look to fund have been submitted and verified by social services professionals, visitors can be sure that funding will go towards helping a real person meeting a real challenge in Israel. We use a crowdfunding model for every case, no need exceeds $1500, so all donations, $10 or $100 count. We use this model because we believe that crowdfunding is a viable and meaningful way of giving, and we are determined to use this technological platform as a way to connect donors and site visitors (individuals, families, students) from within Israel and abroad with families in need in Israel.
