For nearly 3 decades the Washington, DC International Film Festival has celebrated not only the love of film, but also its love for the lively and diverse city it calls home. As the oldest and largest film festival in our nation’s capital, Filmfest DC has a storied history of bringing the best and most exciting cinema to film lovers of all kinds.
The Filmfest DC program represents finalists from over 30 countries and offers up over 80 features, documentaries, and shorts. Our comedies, dramas, love stories, and adventures work together to create the global panorama of amazing stories and ideas that transport, engage, and inspire our 25,000+ attendees each year.
