    URBAN HEALING TOUR (UHT) is a multimedia stage play that integrates video, dance, music, poetry, and hip hop theatre. UHT is inspired by the life of Deshaun Dawson, a 17-year-old honor student who was killed by gun violence in 2003. The Urban Healing Tour is in advocacy against gun violence in urban areas and will be mounted and performed locally in the San Francisco and East Bay areas in California, as well as include a national and ultimately international tour in traditional playhouses as well as in adult and juvenile correctional facilities, shelters, recovery centers, community centers, schools, etc. The tour begins April 30th 2010 and will run until things get better!
