About Us
The Houston Bar Foundation was organized for charitable and educational purposes, including purposes which support, promote and encourage activities for the furtherance of justice and legal research, publications, institutes, forums and scholarships; the institution of legal aid for the indigent and working poor and the acceptance of grants from governmental and private sources; the extension of financial assistance and to attorneys or members of an attorney's family who is in need; and any other activity which will promote and aid an improved system for the administration of justice and the improvement of the Bench and Bar in Harris County, Texas and elsewhere.
