    The Indian Institute of Youth Welfare was established in 1973 with the purpose of encouraging and inculcating in the youth of India, an attitude of entrepreneurship and self confidence. We did so with Vocational Training Programmes.

    Now, while keeping our basic objectives in mind, we have diversified with a special emphasis on youth training into various development fields like :

    Urban & Rural Development; Mother & Child Care, Financial Assistance, Entrepreneurship Development, Non-Profit Library & Resource Centre Services. Mother Headed Families, Local Government Issues; Community & Individual Health; Slum Development etc.
