    The Lawyers Trust Fund (“LTF”) is a charitable foundation and the largest funder of not-for-profit legal aid programs based in Illinois. Legal aid is a vital social service that makes justice accessible for people who cannot afford to hire an attorney. Beneficiaries include victims of domestic violence, families facing eviction, consumers subject to unfair debt-collection practices, and immigrants seeking to become citizens. In 2019, LTF will distribute over $13 million in grants to not-for-profit legal aid organizations in Illinois.
