About Us
The Kirkbride School is a neighborhood public school within the School District of Philadelphia, located in South Philadelphia. Our school community is racially, culturally and ethnically diverse, and we serve a variety of students. We are a high-achieving school and were named as one of fourteen "Peer Leader" schools of all public schools (district and charter schools) in the city of Philadelphia. In February, we were also awarded as a National Title One Distinguished School for the previous 2014-2015 school year for the second year in a row. Our student attendance rate is the fourth highest for all schools in the School District of Philadelphia--our students want to come to school, learn and work hard! We truly have some of the best students in the city!
