    • About Us

    The Graduate Residency in Youth Ministry is designed to wholly equip today’s professional youth minister. During the 3-year program, residents receive practical training and coaching from CYMT and a theological education at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, where they earn a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry (MAYM) degree. Residents strengthen their education through work experience as a youth minister and expand their horizons on the practical implementation of ministry through community-based learning and one-on-one coaching.

    As an organization, we have been training youth and children's ministers for 15+ years. We have partnerships with churches, camps, and nonprofits in 13 states. Our partners are looking for youth and children's ministers that are called, theologically trained, and supported by veteran coaches. Thus, a CYMT candidate is a no-brainer.

    Thus, if you are considering seminary and ministry, choose CYMT. You won't get the training and support you need anywhere else.
