About Us
Manna Food Center strives to end hunger in Montgomery County through distribution, education and advocacy. Each year Manna collects and distributes more than 3 million pounds of food to over 30,000 Montgomery County residents in need of assistance each year. Our award winning Smart Sack program provides 2,800 food insecure elementary school children with a backpack of food every Friday when they do not have access to weekend meals. In addition to providing direct service, Manna Food Center also provides food to emergency shelters, soup kitchens, food pantries, group homes, school program, and other non-profit organizations.
