  • About Us

CIELO is a nonprofit organization centered around its mission to promote community, self-sufficiency, and leadership of Latinos in the South Puget Sound area by providing educational, mental health, social services, and cultural activities. Since its inception in 1996, CIELO has expanded its program offerings from Thurston to Mason and Lewis counties. In the past two years, CIELO has grown in response to the increasing need for our services by Spanish-speaking families. Our organization is comprised of thirteen staff members, five contracted providers, and numerous volunteers. CIELO’s governing body is its board of directors. CIELO is committed to being a vibrant, intercultural center for the Latinx community in the South Sound area, where all individuals are allies and resources for one another.
