About Us
The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago (TVC) is devoted to enriching lives through community volunteerism. TVC’s service area embraces 46 towns and villages in Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois with a combined population that exceeds 1.3 million. We recruit volunteers on behalf of 125 social service agencies and schools, and we provide training and consulting to our member agencies. We also administer several direct service programs of our own. The population we serve is thus twofold: at agencies, the volunteers we refer and the professionals we counsel; and in the community, the clients of our member agencies and service programs. We invite volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and interests to contact The Volunteer Center and "get involved"!
