About Us
AAI's mission is to strengthen human capacity for Africa’s development through education, skills training, dialogue, convening activities and research. Our objective is to build the most effective platform to develop, fund, and deliver capacity-building programs in Africa.
Our convening eventspromote enlightened engagement between Africa and America. We encourage greater understanding of Africa among a wide spectrum of Americans and bring together American and African policy makers to share perspectives on issues of mutual concern.
Africa-America Institute is a premier multi-racial, multi-ethnic, non-profit organization based in New York. Our 23,000 alumni hail from and live in 54 African countries.
