  • About Us

The Southern Vermont Natural History Museum is dedicated to inspiring people to preserve our natural resources. We do this through the use of our natural history collection of over 600 bird and mammal mounts and through the use of our live non-releasable wildlife that includes several species of hawks, owls, bald eagles, reptiles and other non-releasable wildlife. We currently provide educational programs throughout Vermont and neighboring states to schools, libraries, camps, and other organizations. We are currently providing direct programming to over 20,000 people a year.
