About Us
Canon Hospice provides in and out patient Hospice Care for patients in the South Mississippi Gulf Coast area. Canon provides all the services for patients and families from the ongoing care of the patient, social and spiritual care, prior to and after the patient passing. We provide a robust Bereavement Plan of Care that includes various Grief Support services to the Patients family and loved ones. The services of Grief Support Groups, visitation by Social Worker and or Chaplain, Volunteer visits and support, cards, phone calls, and special events such as the "Celebration of Life" held each year in December for families who lost someone in the previous 12 months, and Camp Swan which is a Therapeutic opportunity for 7-12 year olds who have lost someone and is having grief issues.
