    Founded in 1943, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston–Houston has been providing hope and healing for over 70 years through its’ compassionate services, helping those in need achieve self-sufficiency and live with dignity.

    As the welcoming hub for Catholic Charities’ services in Fort Bend County since 2011, the Mamie George Community Center helps residents and senior citizens by providing basic needs assistance, such as food, rent, or utilities, and personalized case management. We also offer a multitude of senior wellness programs and activities that are geared towards those who are 60 and better in Fort Bend County.
