About Us
Empowerment International is committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and promoting education in Central America. We will accomplish our mission by:
• Raising funds to purchase the necessary uniforms, shoes, books and supplies • Working with families to help them understand the long-term importance of education and providing emotional support • Coordinating our efforts with other organizations that are working in Central America to give children a more stable and safe environment • Leveraging our financial resources by utilizing systems already in place, i.e., the existing public school systems and volunteers in both the United States and Central America, and by accepting in-kind service donations from various organizations including a Central American airline
