The primary mission of Multiple Sclerosis Helping Hands (MSHH) is providing financial aid to individuals with multiple sclerosis. The Donor Closets are one of the primary sources of funding for the MSHH program. At the Donor Closet, our volunteers accept gently used durable medical equipment and mobility aids and refurbish them for others to use. These items are then offered to the general public at the Donor Closet for a minimum suggested donation. Store proceeds are returned to MSHH for their program. This process collectively helps individuals seeking equipment in the store by assisting to improve their safety and health, and assists individuals with MS across 10 Western states with financial aid. Recycling of this medical equipment also reduces medical waste in community landfills.
