About Us
Atlanta Wild Animal Rescue Effort was established in 1999, in recognition of the very urgent need for a wildlife rescue and educational group in Atlanta. We take in injured, orphaned, and ill wildlife, provide medical care if necessary, and rehabilitate them so they can be released back to nature. We also are an educational group, teaching the public how to protect and preserve nature, and co-exist peacefully with all wildlife.
