    She Counts Inc. is a non-profit youth professional development organization that engages young girls, grades 6 through 12, in entrepreneurship.

    Our missiion is to advance adolescent entrepreneurship and financial literacy in girls, emphasizing ethical business practices, social responsibility and financial independence.

    She Counts Inc is a non-profit, community-based program that uses the power of leadership, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to educate and inspire adolescent girls for a lifetime of self-respect, self-confidence and wealthy living.

    The program began in Baltimore County with 2 volunteers and a hand full of girls and now has more than 50 volunteer and approximately 200 young girls (ages 12-17).

    She Counts Inc. sessions integrate specific life-skills training such as healthy decision-making, dealing with bullies, contributing to the community, leadership, career and college readiness and teamwork.

    Since 2009, She Counts Inc. has helped aspiring adolescent girls start and grow small businesses. She Counts Inc. provides business and career development, mentoring and workshops for girls.
