  • About Us

Now in its 12th season, On Site Opera’s mission is to produce site-specific, immersive opera experiences in unconventional locations across New York City (and beyond!). Everyone from artists and audience to critics describes On Site Opera (OSO) as innovative, immersive, bold, engaging, accessible, and fun. Our 2024 season began with a sold-out run of Coffee Cantata, which will be followed by a free concert series at the West Side Community Garden, and ends with the premiere of Laura Kaminsky and David Cote’s new opera, Lucidity. In typical seasons, OSO’s produces three core productions in venues located throughout New York City, and occasionally beyond.
