  • About Us

    BACKGROUND

The Perelman Performing Arts Center (“PAC NYC”), now under construction, is located on the corner of Fulton and Greenwich Street on the World Trade Center campus.

Following the attacks on September 11, a comprehensive citizen planning process provided input for the rebuilding of the 16-acre site. In September 2003 the master plan for the World Trade Center, released by The Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, working with the Port Authority of NY & NJ and Studio Daniel Libeskind, designated this site for a performing arts center.

PAC NYC will present and produce theater, music, dance, film and chamber opera. PAC NYC is scheduled to open in 2023.

    MISSION

    PAC NYC creates connections

    • by cultivating bonds between extraordinary artists and communities

     • with exemplary performances in active dialogue across the arts

    • in our flexible intimate spaces, inviting conversation and new relationships.

Our art and our audiences reflect the dynamic energy of all five boroughs of New York City. Our work asks all of us to consider and embrace the complexities of society. Together, we welcome the entire world.

PAC NYC is where the world trades ideas.
