New York Memory Center, formerly Park Slope Geriatric Day Center, is a free-standing, nonprofit community-based agency providing services to adults with memory loss and their caregivers and families. Our weekday wellness programming is designed to positively impact both the lives of adults living with memory loss and their caregivers.

The Lotus Club is for adults recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease or memory loss and includes a peer support group to help individuals adjust and share problems. Memory Life Services is a multi-faceted program that coincides with the progression of the disease. Daily programming Monday through Friday includes door-to-door escorted transportation, a healthy noon meal, activities including art therapy, yoga, exercise, Computer Cognitive Learning Center, poetry, music therapy, and a range of social activities to reduce isolation.

Caregiver Support Groups meet monthly and social work and other support services are available.
