Amazon Partnerships Foundation

  • About Us

Amazon Partnerships Foundation works with indigenous Kichwa communities in the Amazon region of Ecuador—one of the most valuable and endangered rainforest ecosystems on the planet. Our vision is to empower Kichwa communities to protect the environment, revive their nature-based culture, and create a new model for conscious, sustainable living that draws from the best of traditional and modern practices. We implement an innovative community development initiative which awards small grants and up to one year of intensive project management training to communities for projects to conserve the Amazon rainforest, mitigate or adapt to climate change, and/or promote the conservation values of traditional Kichwa culture.
