Silent Victims of Crime

  • About Us

The Silent Victims of Crime are the 1.7 million children under the age of 18, who live in the United States and have an incarcerated parent. These children are routinely overlooked and displaced to potentially unsafe environments following the arrest of a parent or primary caregiver. Lack of intervention on behalf of these children may be a contributing factor towards future criminal behavior.

Mission: to end the intergenerational cycle of incarceration by leading youth to be “college bound, not jail bound.” We create a national awareness that will encourage further studies and programs through presentations, newsletters, mailings, events and mentoring activities. Our Goal is to cultivate a national, collaborative effort based on the 5 Circles of Support.
