Mount Hope Farmers Market

  • About Us

The Mount Hope Farmers Market seeks to support the viability of local farms and food-makers and to promote and expand all consumers’ access to fresh, local food. We value the role of the market as a community gathering place, and as a forum for sharing knowledge & ideas about food, nutrition, cooking, agriculture, food equity, & environmental stewardship.

The Mount Hope Farmers Market is a year-round market which takes place at Mount Hope Farm, a 127 acre national historic site in Bristol, RI. Mount Hope Farm is overseen by the Mount Hope Trust, a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to preserve and protect the integrity of the farm’s natural assets and its historical structures, and make it accessible to all. Through community projects (such as 4H, and a partnership with the URI Master Gardeners) and programs like the farmers market, Mount Hope Farm works to help sustain a productive and vibrant working landscape, and to support and promote the hard-working local farmers and food producers in our community.
