About Us
Pride Youth Theater Alliance (PYTA) is a growing network that advances the practice of Queer Youth
Theater by providing emerging and established leaders in the field with
resources and opportunities to exchange, collaborate, and learn. PYTA members include directors, educators,
and activists from across the U.S. and Canada representing 23 organizations,
programs, and ensembles committed to empowering gay, lesbian, bisexual,
transgender, queer, questioning, and allied youth and transforming communities
through Queer Youth Theater. PYTA operates as a program housed at The Theater
Offensive in Boston, MA.
