    The Council for Responsible Genetics represents the public interest and fosters public debate about the social, ethical, and environmental implications of genetic technologies.

    Founded in 1983, CRG is a non-profit/non- governmental organization with offices in New York City and in Cambridge, Massachusetts. CRG works nationally and internationally through its many advocacy and public education programs. It also publishes the magazine GeneWatch,the only magazine in the US exclusively dedicated to the ethics of biotechnology.
