Abortion Care Tennessee

ACT funds procedural costs for Tennesseans traveling to access abortion. We provide block grants to our partner clinics, who distribute the funds to patients.

ACT is unapologetically pro-abortion. We believe in everyone's right to access the care they need, when and where they need it. We believe that our community is strong and together we can support the most vulnerable Tennesseans in their search for abortion care.

We celebrate bodily autonomy, and the joy of helping each other access our rights.

Our mission is to build power for Tennesseans by increasing access to reproductive and sexual health care, including safe abortion for all people. 

We envision a Tennessee where everyone – regardless of race, gender, income, language, ability, documentation, or sexual identity – is free from reproductive control, oppression, and stigma. 

We envision a Tennessee where everyone's right to bodily autonomy is honored and protected.

Centering the Reproductive Justice Framework: We see all oppression as interconnected and strive to dismantle all forms of oppression, especially white supremacy, by engaging in cross-movement power building.

Sustainability: We strive to support each other in this work to ensure the sustainability of each of us and of the continuity of the fund.
