About Us
The Anchorage Youth Development Coalition (AYDC) is a coalition formed in 2003 to promote positive youth development. AYDC builds capacity in local organizations and community initiativesby coordinating efforts and providing resources, networking and training to ensure that all Anchorage youth thrive. AYDC promotes and integrates strength-based approaches to prevent adolescent substance use and other risk behaviors. Our vision is that all Anchorage youth are valued, involved, and thriving members of our community.
