Melete Foundation

In Greek mythology, Melete, one of the original Muses who inspired the creation of literature and arts, was tasked with meditation and practice. The Melete Foundation is a non—profit that works to promote the practice of cultural understanding among teachers and students through educational exchange programs. In a time where the global community is becoming locally important, today’s teachers are tasked with guiding the newest generation of learners towards becoming responsible global citizens; a goal that The Melete Foundation believes cannot be fully achieved without interacting with people of other cultures. Through our teacher development programs, The Melete Foundation hopes to inspire cultural understanding and appreciation through the practice of learning, changing the fates of all who participate.
