About Us
Grassroots is a 24-hour resource to individuals and families in need. These are men, women and children who find themselves without a place to sleep. These are co-workers, schoolmates, friends and even family who may be contemplating suicide. These are members of the community who are experiencing a crisis and are seeking help, advice, and sometimes just a roof. We are an emergency shelter, a 24-hour phone and walk-in crisis center, Mobile Crisis Team, and an educational resource for all. We're proud to serve Howard County and other nearby communities.
